Misgendered On The Basis of Hair

What do all Non-binary folk have in common? Well one could argue they are in the running for last place if we consider the gender and sex identities as contenders for the worst hair. What is up with that? I know you can’t pick a side but couldn’t you at least choose to have pretty hair? Non binaries think they are a mixture of man and woman, couldn’t you choose the good from both sides? If you’re going to have an unconventional gender identity (read:unattractive for a political gain) could you at least use your long hair to identify you’re still a woman behind that mustache and oddly shaped body. Long hair is a telltale sign of femininity, so you can be a man in all other ways but your long hair will be enough to confuse some, isn’t that the point?

Cutting your hair short is definitely a recipe for getting misgendered, and you’re willfully doing it to yourselves and expecting others to be able to see through your SELF IMPOSED gender stereotypes. I’ve never understood why any woman or non binary or trans person would willfully and disdainfully castrate themselves and put their feminine identity into question. It’s just not worth it folks. 9/10 we mistake biological women with short hair for men so of course as a trans or envy you’re just making your gender more apparent either way by cutting your hair short. Embrace long hair as your last bastion of femininity for the good of mankind.
