Long Hair Privilege

Women who choose to have short hair compromise their female privilege in 3 main ways

1. They must make themselves look attractive before doing anything. Beware those of you who think short hair will “save you time.” It will ultimately take much more time in the long run. Including more time and money spent on makeup and hair reduces you didn’t need before.
2. They cannot be vile or unladylike for even a second. Have they be confused with men: the more vile sex. Studies show that women with short hair who use crude language in public are viewed much less positively than long haired women who do the same.
3. They cannot get away with the standard hysteria most other women can. When women have long hair we view them as delicate feminine flowers. Whereas short haired women are like other men to whom e are not as forgiving. Therefore men are much more likely to not back down to short haired women. It takes away your power that you hold over men in a sense cause you are equalized.
   Why take away one of your known holds on men just to “compete” with them. Women are goddesses in a whole different level from them. In this case I don’t believe we have to “join them if we can’t beat them.” We can dodge the whole system by simply keeping our femininity in tact.
